Terms of Service

These terms apply to businesses using Mesha during the pilot program and describe what the service does and what each side is responsible for.

Last updated: September 2026

1. Service description

Mesha provides an AI assistant that responds to customer messages on behalf of an appointment-based business, answers common questions, checks availability, and helps create, reschedule or cancel appointments. Mesha is a software service; it does not provide the underlying services your customers book.

2. Pilot and beta status

Mesha is currently offered as a pilot to selected businesses. Features may change, be limited, or be withdrawn while the product develops, and behaviour may occasionally be inconsistent. Pilot access may be provided free of charge or on special terms agreed separately.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Mesha to:

  • send unsolicited bulk messages or spam;
  • break applicable law or the rules of the messaging platforms you connect;
  • impersonate another business or person;
  • attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service;
  • process sensitive personal data that is not necessary for booking appointments.

4. Business responsibilities

As the business using Mesha, you are responsible for:

  • the accuracy of your services, pricing, staff and availability information;
  • reviewing appointment requests where approval is enabled;
  • your relationship with your customers, including any commitments made in a conversation;
  • complying with the laws that apply to your business and to contacting customers.

Automated replies may contain errors. You should review important information before relying on it.

5. Third-party services

Mesha relies on third-party services such as messaging platforms, calendar providers, cloud hosting and AI model providers. Your use of those services is also subject to their terms. We are not responsible for changes, outages or restrictions imposed by those providers.

6. WhatsApp and Meta dependencies

Mesha operates through WhatsApp, which is provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. Mesha is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta. Availability of messaging features depends on Meta's platform, policies and approval processes, which may change at any time and may affect the service.

7. Google Calendar integration

If you connect a Google account, you authorise Mesha to access the calendar data required to check availability and manage appointment events. You may revoke this access at any time through your Google account settings or by disconnecting the integration, which will disable calendar-dependent features.

8. Service availability

We aim to keep Mesha available and reliable, but the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis during the pilot. We do not offer a guaranteed uptime commitment unless agreed separately in writing.

9. Termination

You may stop using Mesha and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or end access where these terms are breached, where required by a third-party provider or by law, or where the pilot program ends. We will give reasonable notice where practical.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Mesha is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost bookings or lost data, arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service develops. The "last updated" date on this page will reflect any change, and continued use of Mesha after an update means you accept the revised terms.
